Interval Training Workout to Blast Stubborn Body Fat
Interval Training Burns Calories Long After The Workout is Finished
Although it seems logical to use traditional cardio, there are problems. With traditional “target heart rate” cardio you typically only burn calories when you are engaged in the workout. With interval training you are boosting your metabolism for many hours after the workout. It has been shown that interval training can burn up to 6 times the calories compared to traditional cardio. I suggest choosing interval training to drop body fat at much quicker rate than traditional aerobic exercise.
I have used different variations of this basic interval training workout for 6 years. This allows me to have six pack abs year round. It works very well!
1) Find a solid treadmill, elliptical machine, or exercise bike
2) Walk at the typical “target heart rate” pace for one and a half minutes
3) Increase the level of the machine so you are either jogging or peddling at a quicker pace
4) After 30 seconds back down to the slower pace you began at. Keep it at that level for one-and-a-half minutes like before
5) Jog or peddle fast for 30 seconds (higher speed/resistance than the first time)
6) Repeat this for 20-30 minutes
Please Note: You are going to want to make it so it will be hard to complete your last 30 seconds of intense effort. If you find that you aren’t completely breathing hard and sweating, then you need to go for another few rounds. If you do everything properly your skin should be hot, you should be sweating, and breathing hard. This is an indicator that your natural fat burning hormone, HGH, will be released. This is what will really burn off the stubborn body fat like crazy. You are going to love the results you get from interval training.

Great post about interval training. I find that it works very well and also you don’t get worn out so quickly.
The regimen I use is the Jog, walk, jog method. Same arrangement of two minutes then 30 seconds then 2 minutes and so forth.
Wow, I had absolutely no idea what interval training was, or that it would be so much more effective than just a regular aerobic workout! I may have to give it a try and see what sort of results I get!
