Keeping Loose Underarm Skin Tight
November 26, 2007 by Lucy · 3 Comments
Back in October I wrote about dealing with how to get rid of loose underarm skin. Today we’re going to continue along the same exercise, but putting just a little bit of extra work into it, that will get results quickly and keeping loose underarm skin tight - will seem like a doddle.
To start - sitting down on the edge of your chair, do 10 of the phase 1 exercises on how to get rid of loose underarm skin just to get into the swing of things and warm up.
Now do the same exercises as in phase 1 - only this time do them while standing up with your feet about forty centimetres apart and with your legs slightly bent at the knees.
Try to concentrate in getting your arms stretched farther out and up when in the backward position - without moving your head and shoulders forward or sticking your behind out. See if you can do this each day and get your arms stretched more and more back, out and up. Remember not to lock your elbows or knees and don’t jolt your arms back and forth - use swaying, continual, graceful movements.
When starting this exercise it can be difficult not to move your head and shoulders forward and your behind sticks out. The good news is the more you practise, the easier it will become. The easier it becomes, the more incentive you’ll have to continue and ultimately the more tight and attractive your underarm skin will be. Attractive - heck yes. Remember that gorgeous, sleeveless dress - you’re going to be wearing it in no time.
Repetitions:
After following phase 1 - then continue with phase 2 standing up
Day 1 50 times, through to day 16 with 100 times
Remember: Although these exercises are not strenuous, we do recommend consulting with your physician when starting a new exercise or if you’re even just a little bit unsure of whether they are suitable for you to do.

Getting rid of loose underarm skin can be difficult if done in the wrong way. This ‘How to get rid of lose underarm skin’ exercise tip will definitely help.
The underarm stretch workout routine strengthens overarm (triceps) muscles and helps get rid of loose, hanging skin from the underarm.
This exercise also stretches the muscles along the spine and breast cage, as well as loosening tightness in the neck and between the shoulder blades and extends and stretches the breast cage.
The dark shaded part of the drawing shows the parts of the body this exercise will help to improve.
Workout routine:
- Sit on the edge of a chair with a straight back with feet and legs placed a little apart from each other - firmly but relaxed on the floor in front of you. Without leaning back, keep your back straight and upright, tummy in and arms loosely hanging downward.
- Now slowly lift both arms to a vertical position up to shoulder height. Palms facing downward.
- Slowly turn the hands forward and upward, so that the thumb is pointing backwards.
- Now lean forward and move the both arms slowly backward. As far backwards as possible, holding the arms stretched. Hold the arms as high as possible when moving them to the backward position.
- With the arms in the backward position, move them slowly closer together one centimetre at a time and back again to the upright position (see 1), taking care not not to make sudden, strong movements but moving slowly and carefully through the exercise.
- When finished, come back to the upright position (see 1)
- Arms can then be loosened up by bending them in several times.
This exercise can be repeated (1 through 7) as follows:
- Day 1: 25 times
- Day 2: 30 times
- Day 3: 40 times
- Day 4: 50 times and so on
Throughout this exercise it’s important to go through each point slowly, thinking with each movement and adjusting if necessary to keep tummy in, back straight and arms stretched (as much as possible). This exercise shows how to get rid of loose underarm skin- it will also help build arm muscle and should be part of keeping fit in your fitness program.
