Everyone considering losing weight should set some goals. Actually everyone should set goals no matter what those goals might be. Most people tell you to set your goal within a limit that you can obtain. We believe that if your goal does not scare the pants off you, then your goal is too low!

Daniel Burham, a famous architect, once said, Make no small plans, they have no magic to stir your blood to action. Make big plans, aim high in work and hope.

Set your goals high!

We All Have The Ability To Get Six Pack Abs

January 10, 2008 by Rusty Moore · 1 Comment

It Is Crazy That So Few People Have Six Pack Abs!

Why is it that 6 pack abs are so prevalent in magazines and movies, but not so common in the real world. Remember Brad Pitt in Fight Club, or Daniel Craig in “James Bond”? What about Jessica Alba in “Into the Blue”. Do movie stars have a different physiology than normal folks? Of course not! I think the main reason that people don’t have 6 pack abs is that they don’t believe it is possible or realistic for them. Believe me, you can get amazing abs with the proper approach. Yes, just as good as Will Smith in “I Am Legend”. Read more

How to get 6 pack abs quickly from home

November 21, 2007 by Sophia Munoz · 2 Comments

Exercising is meant to be healthy for your body and to help you burn some calories and lose weight and maybe get those 6 pack abs. It is not meant to be a chore or a burden in your life. Explore new ways to have fun while exercising!

One of the most powerful ways to get your 6 pack abs quickly is to do the abdominal crunch: lie on the floor with your arms across your chest. Keep your feet on the floor. Flex your abs and gently curl your shoulders up off the floor. Curl your shoulders up toward your knees until your shoulder blades come up one to two inches off the floor. Hold the position for 6 seconds and then return to the starting one.

Another very effective exercise is the bicycle: forget doing hundreds of crunches, if you want a flatter belly and defined abs the bicycle is your better choice as it will target both your upper and lower abs. Lie on the floor on your back. Now bring your knees to a 90 angle, place your hands behind your ears and gently move your legs back and forth as if you were riding a bicycle.

My number one abdominal exercise is the alphabet:lie down with your arms kept straight behind your head. Hold on to something like a chair or a table. Stretch your legs in front of you and hold them straight parallel to the floor. You are ready to start your alphabet! First, shape the letter A with your legs straight then move on to B, and so on. For each letter, imagine you have a pencil at the very tip of your feet and you have to “write” the letter-in capitals- just using your legs. It is a very powerful exercise to get 6-pack abs quickly and shape your lower abs effectively.

Keep in mind that having 6 pack abs is also a matter of being balanced: you need to add cardio vascular training to your daily routine if you want to be able to burn off those calories and have a flat stomach.

Stationary bikes are one of the most common at-home exercise options. Most people invest in a stationary bike for their exercise routine because it’s one of the easiest things to do to stay in shape, and you can ride while watching television or listening to the radio. Because it’s not complicated to use, it gives a person satisfaction in knowing that they accomplished their exercise routine for the day. Not only will it tone up you abs but it will help tone other parts of your body as well: it is a very complete exercise.

You can also try using a mini trampoline to make your exercise routine fun. These can make your exercise program fun and easy to do because you can bounce around and get your activity done. These mini trampolines can be easily stored since they can fold up and be placed in a closet.

Exercises you can use to strengthen your abs are aplenty: you just need to find the motivation to get started so finish reading now and get things under way. It is time you take responsibility for your own fitness training!
