Lose Your Tummy without Being a Weight Loss Dummy

Losing the pregnancy weight can be hard especially when there are so many diet schemes out there. Sometimes stereotypes make the most sense such as: size does matter or quality over quantity! These two stereotypes are famous but that’s because they are effective when you’re trying to trim your tummy!
Size does count:
Portion sizing is one of the oldest tricks in the book but it works. These days most restaurants pile your plate full of food and fast food joints have bigger sizes and bottomless cups. It might be hard to get away from this over indulgent culture but when you do sit down to eat, try to have smaller portions but more varieties of fare.
Include into your diet wholesome carbohydrates like oatmeal, powerful proteins like lean meats or egg whites and natural dairy like yogurt. You don’t have to eat less with portion sizing instead you can eat more different foods, with smaller servings of each group to make up a balanced meal.
Faster is better:
You can shorten your workout sessions by doing quality fat burning exercises. Lose your tummy by speeding up your strides during your cardio. High intensity interval training will boost your metabolism and improve your endurance. Challenge yourself with quick sprints spread throughout your jogs.
If you are in a school gym, try and do those basketball lines by sprinting to one and jogging back to the other. If you are at a park, try and sprint up the stairs while walking around the field. Wherever you are, try and move back and forth from quick sprints to short jogs.
It might be hard to choose an exercise routine when there are so many tips out there. These stereotypes have been around for a long time but when applied to losing the pregnancy weight they fit. Lose your tummy fast by keeping these mottos in mind and above all have fun!
