Less Back Pain With An Upright Vacuum Cleaner

Back pain can emerge from out of no where and from various causes. For example if you’re not lifting heavy objects properly i.e. bending your knees and going down on your haunches to pick up from the floor, you could be asking for serious back problems. Simple things like cleaning can also give back twinges, reaching too high to dust or even using the vacuum cleaner, can cause a great deal of back pain if not done properly.

For example; if the vacuum cleaners hose and handle isn’t long enough. This means you have to bend over the vacuum cleaner, which over time will bring discomfort and pain in the lower back area if your don’t take care. An upright vacuum cleaner on the other hand, is by far the best choice for cleaning as you don’t have to crouch down as the attached handle is the right height for you to walk normally – as the vacuum cleaner does the work, your back is protected.

If you are prone to back problems, try strengthening your back. To do this effectively you first need to work on your tummy muscles, as they protect the back to a great extent. Most importantly: Before doing anything rigorous, consult your doctor.
