Helping the Immune System Stay Alert

August 29, 2009 Filed Under: Weight Loss

The immune system is intricate and when looking closely to what makes up the immune system, you will see it’s very nearly as complex as the body’s nervous system. The human body is built up of millions of cells that work to protect us from all kinds of sickness and bacteria. These cells activate or deactivate chemical processes, which can be quite confusing to most people.

Vaccines and antibiotics make up the arsenal against bacterial foreign bodies and are vital in helping the body fend off certain diseases in some cases. The body is injected with a weakened or dead form of the virus or bacteria and produces the appropriate antibodies, giving complete protection against the full-strength form of the given disease.

The immune system’s basic job is to sort out the self and non-self bodies, which means simply – things that belong and those that don’t. One of the things that don’t belong is sugar protein covering a virus, or the cell wall of a bacterium.

Assuming the immune system is working correctly, it will react promptly to any bacteria invasion. The reaction will come in several different ways in order to get rid of the foreign body. Naturally there are times during the course of a life time when the immune system doesn’t work at maximum or stops completely. When this happens the immune system will be unable to tell the difference between the things that belong and those that don’t, it will then start to reject the things that do belong and are necessary to keep the body functioning.

This group of diseases is known as the auto-immune disease. Examples of this type of disease are rheumatoid arthritis, lupus erythematosis, and ulcerative colitis. When a substance has been identified as an immune booster, we have found something, which is very valuable because it helps the immune system to react as it should and regulates the cellular immune functions.

The immune system recognizes, identifies and carries to memory all that it comes across. The immune systems cells produce as a reaction to certain signals made by invading foreign bodies and then released into the serum, plasma or the fluid surrounding cells of tissues and organs that in turn helps to protect them.

These substances are a type of signal that in turn create other effects, or they can become protein molecules, also known as antibodies that attach themselves to certain targets. Once they have attached themselves, the antibody attracts other cells from the immune system. These come and the target is destroyed, which then releases another molecule to signal to other cells to come and clean up the mess.

All cells that respond to a signal have certain tasks to perform such as identify, recognize, remember, signal, destroy, and clean up are the all part of the cellular community of the immune system and its function. Without the work of these cells we would be sick a lot more than we are. Aloeride is a substance, that can give the immune system the boost it needs to help and ensure it stays in good working order.
