How To Create Lifelong Healthy Habits
October 31, 2007 by Lucy
We live in an age of almost obsessive dieting Lifestyle fitness coach and author of "Self Care Before Sit-Ups", Amy Lundberg's innovative approach might seem a little backwards to many, as she focuses on building an inner foundation with her clients to support their physical fitness program before she begins to add on the exercise component and as Amy explains Women seem to be the most susceptible to not giving themselves ’self care’ time. Lundberg claims, “As women, we’re such nurturers of others, we do, do, do, until we’re completely worn out.”Lundberg had one client who she coached for four months before the woman was ready to exercise. She was a single-mother who owned her own business. She was overweight and was so tired and depleted that she ended up in the hospital before she realized she had to change something. Lundberg believed this client needed to build a sturdy inner-foundation or she might never be able to maintain a long-term fitness program. After four months of working on her inner-fitness, the woman woke up one day and got on her treadmill. Now she’s dropped two dress sizes and she exercises every day. “She needed to take time to nurture herself and recharge her batteries,” Lundberg explains. If you too think it’s time to move beyond dieting and all of the media hype then contact Amy Lundberg here for a free coaching session. News Source courtesy of PRWeb
