Health Care Insurance: Which Policy Is Right For You?
November 13, 2007 by Lucy Jones
With so many health care insurance facilities available, it can be difficult to sort out which one is best suited to you and your family members and at the right price.
Traditional health insurance is generally the most flexible plan, allowing the consumer to choose any physician or specialist - of course there are always exceptions to the rule, so check carefully first as you may need to get the insurance company’s approval first before for example checking into the hospital of your choice.
Combined family insurance policies for a couple or the whole family can cost less than individual policies. And if you’re self-employed, it’s worth remembering that these insurance costs may be partially or wholly deductible on your annual tax returns.
