Filling The Advertiser and Blogger Gap
June 3, 2009 Filed Under: Self Improvement
Are you a blogger? Do you blog for money? Many bloggers do and there appears to be a growing number of realistic situations opening up for bloggers where they have the opportunity to get paid to blog, review and promote third party products and services on their blog and receive payment for doing so.
While there are many get paid for blogging programs of this type popping up online, Smorty appears to be a lot more organized than most. Their website is crisp and clear, with user friendly navigation throughout their pages. The members area is well organized, where each section is clearly defined for the blogger to quickly and effectively deploy their chosen blog posting assignments.
Advertisers love bloggers and want to advertise on blogs to get the word out and create buzz for their products and services to the market place.
Smorty fills an important gap between the advertiser and the blogger, by linking suitable member bloggers to member advertiser campaigns, where the blogger has the opportunity not only to get paid to post their opinion, but also provide quality content to their own blog.
Registering a blog with Smorty is free and simple, with easy to follow terms and conditions for blog approval and posting. When an advertiser campaign is registered, Smorty sends an email to the blogger letting them know of the opportunity. The blogger has the option to accept or decline the assignment. If s/he accepts – the post must be no less than 150 and maximum 400 words, which should be written in English.
Smorty makes things super simple for everyone. Payment is made via Paypal, so in essence anyone that has a Paypal account can join Smorty. Payments on approved posts are made once a week.
Naturally there are rules to follow, but I’m impressed with them as they’ve made things much simpler than similar sites, without losing sight of professionalism, effectiveness and the overall goal of serving both advertiser and blogger in the best kind of way. Smorty’s blog advertising network fills the gap between advertiser and blogger.
