Easy Low Carb Recipes – Cooking For A Low Carb Diet

2 lb. head of green cabbage, 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil, 4 oz. good quality slab bacon diced into 1/4-inch cubes, coarse sea salt, and red wine vinegar or lemon wedges is all you need for this easy fast low carb recipe.

Preheat the oven to 350F(180C) about a half hour before you start making the recipe. Trim the stem of the cabbage and remove one layer of the outer leaves. Cut the cabbage into half and then cut each half into three even wedges.

Place the cabbage wedges onto a oil coated rimmed baking sheet, and trying to keep them about an inch apart on it. Then sprinkle with half of the cubed bacon.

Put the cabbage into the oven to roast about twenty minutes or until browned, then the cabbage turn over add the rest of the bacon and roast for another twenty minutes or so. Sprinkle with salt and serve with vinegar or lemon wedges.

The real simple and quick recipe blue cheese dressing is another low carb recipe and is perfect for you. All you need is 4 oz. crumbled blue cheese, 2 tsp. minced garlic, 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar, 1 cup sour cream, 1/4 cup mayonnaise, and some salt and pepper to taste.

Fast and simple way to prepare this low carb recipe is to mix all the ingredients in a bowl or container, cover and refrigerate overnight, use as needed for up to one week, after which the remains should be thrown out.
