Three Well Kept Weight Loss Secrets
November 20, 2009 · Leave a Comment
losing weight can often feel like an uphill battle. Every time you lose a pound and experience the feeling for victory and joy, you go back to the scale a couple of hours later, only to uncover that you’ve gained that pound back. The fact of the matter is that your attitude has a lot to do with your ability to lose weight. Most of us already know about diet and exercise as they contribute to weight loss. However, there are three other secrets that you should keep in mind, which may be holding you back from achieving you weight loss dreams.
Visualize! What is it that you hope to gain from your weight loss goal? Do you want to fit into a certain swimsuit or are you going somewhere where you want to look your best? The problem that many of us have when we try to lose weight is not having a goal that is specific enough, but also being overly focused on the number of pounds that we want to shed, which isn’t good.
Consider what it takes to really picture in your head the way that you will look, the reactions you will get. Don’t be stingy when you are painting on the details; use full color and perfect your visualization technique.
Speak it! It is really easy to let go of the things that you never say out loud. Just like a thought that passes through your mind, a weight loss goal that is never spoken could get lost in translation. Begin by saying your goal out loud to yourself on a daily basis. This will help you to internalize and eventually reach your goal.
Again, be sure to really understand what you weight loss goals are so that when you begin to verbalize, you are speaking into existence, that which you really want. You can also put up small reminders all over your home, in your vehicle, or even at your office so that you make this goal a reality.
Feel it deep within! Internalizing your goal is the final step and requires the successful completion of the first to parts of this exercise. It is also the hardest to do. Your weight loss goal is something that you need to feel deep down inside of you. You need to wrap your heart around it and never let go until you reach it. Once you do that, nothing will stand in your way. A goal that at one time seemed impossible will seem ever so attainable.
In many cases, losing weight is something people dread doing and something that they think they are going to lose at. Replace these feelings and fears with a positive attitude and positive feelings.
Finally, take some serious time to consider where it is you truly want to go on your weight loss journey. There will be a lot of work to do in terms of both diet and exercise. But the most important work is the work that you must first do on your attitude.

Fat Burning Myths – Become Healthy And Never Look Back
November 16, 2009 · Leave a Comment
fat loss myths are everywhere and are helped along with advertising saying you can lose weight with little or no exercise. Often these claims are made to get you to try their product and are completely wrong or only give you half the truth. This article explains the common Fat Burning Tips and gives you the facts behind them.
The Target Myth: You can pinpoint which areas on your body to lose fat from. Fat is stored all over your body and when you begin to lose fat, it comes from all over your body, not just where you want it to. Even if you work out one area, you’ll build muscle, but there will still be a layer of fat over it. fat loss is a reduction all over your body, you can’t do it for places like your hips and stomach only.
The Myth: You get body fat from eating food high in fat. Plain and simple, calories cause body fat. If you have more calories going into your body then you can burn off, your body will turn this into fat to store it. It makes no difference if it is junk food or healthy for you, too many calories of any kind can add to your overall body fat.
Myth: Crash diets and diet supplements will make you lose body fat and give the same results they advertise. Crash diets can cause your body to think it’s starving and actually cause you to gain more body fat. Pills and diets can make your metabolism slow down and ultimately make losing weight, and fat, more difficult for you.
The Myth: The best way to lose weight is to do fat loss Exercises in the morning on an empty stomach. This is a half-truth, since anytime you can do cardio it has the benefit of burning fat. If you find you aren’t a morning person, then getting up hours early to exercise will cause you to fail because you won’t do it long term. Doing it on an empty stomach may make you feel better, but there’s no more benefit to not eating and exercising then if you’ve ate. The truth is exercise is good no matter when you do it. Fat Loss Tips is what you need.
The True Myth: To lose fat you must burn more calories then you put into your body. This is the one and only myth that is true. Calorie numbers count and you have to eat less then what you burn off. fat loss works with a healthy diet and exercise.
Before you start on any exercise program, you should check with your doctor first to make sure you are healthy enough. You may find a gym can get you up and exercising or find that a walk around the block is good for you. You have to exercise to lose fat, and when you see results you’ll want to continue.
Fat Burning Myths are myths because often they can’t deliver on the promises they make. Old-fashioned exercise and eating sensibly will burn body fat and have you looking, and feeling, great. A Fat Loss Program is really what you need.
For Men Only: Get Rid of that Beer Belly and Still Drink Beer
November 16, 2009 · Leave a Comment
Men are you sick of hearing about how fine you used to be and how the only thing fine about you now is the wine that you drink? If the answer is yes, that is all about to change, as I can show you how to get rid of your beer fat without ever having to give up the beer! But let’s get down to business by discussing what a beer belly really is and understand what really causes it.
What is a beer belly? A beer belly is by definition a section of fat that has begun to live somewhere between your chest and the area you used to call your waistline. But is it cause by beer? The answer is no. Science and medicine has proven that beer bellies are actually caused by a build up in calories resulting from unhealthy eating habits and lifestyles. The stomach area is the region of the body where men have the greatest deposit of fat cells so, when the body intakes a lot of calories and doesn’t burn them up throughout the day, the body send the fat to that specific area right in your stomach.
Okay, now that we’ve discussed where that belly comes from, (probably those mashed potatoes you like to eat) we can now discuss what you can do to get rid of it. You should start by working on those fat cells that are spreading across your stomach. While I have already stated that beer is not the cause, it can contribute to your rotund stomach. Alcohol can make you hungrier (remember beer and pizza with the guys on Sunday night?). But if you stopped drinkg as much, you’d probably stop eating as much which would be one step on your journey to flat abs.
Cut the beer and you cut the increased appetite, but since this article is about How to Get Rid of the Beer Belly without Giving Up Beer, I wont try to convince you to stop. But you need to switch to either a beer with fewer calories or exercise more than you drink to balance out the increased calories. Exercising more than you drink sounds too much like hard work, so well skip that too and just focus on reducing the amount of calories taken in by looking at the best beers for your waist.
So the first thing that comes to your mind when I say low calories is all those light beers that taste likewell you know, but How to Get Rid of the Beer Belly without Giving Up Beer is for real men who would never think of ordering one of “them there sissy light beers.”
So first up is a nice dark Guinness Draught, boasting 125 calories and 10 carbs its not a light beer but it does have a low calorie count and you wont have to drink 10 of them to make up for the lack of taste. Next up is Beamish Irish Stout, it has 131 calories but you still arent losing anything in the taste and your waist is happy. So drink responsibly and finish up with Busch, it has 133 calories and about 10 carbs.
So now you have the key to getting rid of your beer belly without having to but down the bottle. So the next time your wife or girlfriend tells you to get off the couch and lose some weight, go grab yourself another cold one, pop the bottle open and tell her you’re working on it now!

The Powerful Eating Technique To Naturally Lose Weight Quick
November 13, 2009 · Leave a Comment
A larger and larger percentage of adults today have a problem with weight. Whether or not you consider yourself overweight, or even obese. it’s a pretty safe bet it wouldn’t hurt to lose a couple of pounds. If so, then this is for you.
The secret to being able to lose weight quick is by slowly increasing your metabolism. Your metabolism is the sum total of all the chemical reactions in your body.
People that have high metabolisms can eat almost anything, and never gain weight. People like us that have lower metabolisms only need to think of a piece of cake, and gain a couple of pounds as if by magic.
There is no shortage of methods to increase your metabolism. The easiest, and most recommended by health experts is to simply spread out your food. Instead of having three large meals, have five or six small ones. The more frequently you eat, and the smaller you eat each time, the better.
Your metabolism is always on. Twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. If you eat more than your metabolism requires, your body figures it had better store it. And that means it turns the calories you eat into fat.
This was good when food was scarce, but we don’t live in caves anymore. It is unlikely you will ever need to tap into your reserves.
When you eat more often, you are basically telling your body that there is plenty of food, so that it will burn everything you eat. It won’t go into scarcity mode, and store everything it can.
Your body will quickly start to burn everything you eat right away, without even considering if it should be stored or not.
What this means for you is your metabolism will slowly increase over time, and you will store less and less fat.
Just by spreading out the food you already eat, you will be taking a fantastic first step in slimming down and getting a tight, tone body. When you combine this with other methods, it can be incredibly effective.

7 Weight Loss Secrets Hollywood Moms Know But Will Never Share
November 12, 2009 · Leave a Comment
Did you every wonder how the Hollywood stars lose their weight so quickly after they have a baby? There are seven weight loss secrets that the stars use that you should know if you want to lose weight and have that figure you have always wanted.
1. In your effort to lose weight, it is vital that you stay far away from foods that may inflame your body’s natural ability to burn calories. As I list many of the types of foods you should avoid, none will come as much of a surprise. First on the list are foods high in saturated fats. You will also want to stay away from sodas and other sugary drinks. Of course, pork is a big no, no. You should however eat darker colored fruits and vegetables on a routine basis, at least 4 times a week.
2. Make sure you drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. Listen, I know this may not be the most exciting secret but I have one question for you. Do you do this? If not, start today and you will be stunned at the results. Water provides your body the needed fuel to safely burn more calories with much less effort.
3. Decrease your portion size. This is probably something you’ve joked about with friends but never really thought about. Have you ever noticed that if you go to a high priced fancy restaurant, they put less food on your plate than if you went down the street to the waffle house? Portion control is huge in weight loss. Another missing link in the weight loss game is how you eat. When eating you should take your time and focus on chewing each mouthful a minimum of 32 bites. The more you are able to chew your food, the easier it is for your stomach to break it down and burn it off.
4. No snacking. Are you one of those people who like to snack at midnight or in between meals? You need to stop snacking in between meals. If you cannot stop snacking then you need to choose something small and healthy like half of an apple and a bottle of water.
5. Exercise. Exercise is one of the most important things in any diet regimen. This is because it gets the blood pumping through the veins which improves circulation and creates a healthy body. Exercise burns calories and weight. Your body cannot go without exercise for any reason and if you want to lose weight then you should develop a daily routine of at least 15 minutes of exercise.
6. When you know you are going to be away from home, bring foods that are healthy for you that you enjoy. Stay far from the pre-packaged crap that is nothing more than sugar in a box. You never want to find yourself out and about while hungry. Hungry people make poor eating decisions. I guess now you know why many of these movie sets have full time chefs on staff.
7. The last simple secret to long term weight loss is being committed to the process. Commitment is simply doing the thing you said you would do, long after the feeling you said it in is gone. It’s that daily discipline to apply the ideas presented above that will ensure your sustained weight loss.
If you are serious about losing weight then you need to take it seriously. Clean out your cupboards of all of the fatty foods that aren’t healthy and start a new diet. Cut down on the amount of food you are eating and no more raiding the fridge in the middle of the night. Exercise daily and be sure to drink plenty of water. If you can dedicate your body to this regimen then you will notice weight loss within as soon as a week.
