Digital Picture Frames: Forget Film Processing

I can’t help thinking back to the days before digital cameras, videocams and camera phones were invented, can’t imagine how we ever managed without them, they’ve just become part of our every day lives, so much so that we don’t think twice about the processing costs of film any more.

Back then the only way to view photo’s taken by a ‘normal’ camera was by taking them to the store to get them developed and then storing them in an album, that was taken out on special occasions once in a blue moon.

These days all the photo’s are stored on the computer, which is handy when sharing with friends and family but a real pain when showing off the latest holiday, birthday or wedding pictures, as everyone wanting to see them either has to stand around the pc, which doesn’t make for good and enjoyable viewing or take turns in viewing.

All you do is take your photo then put your memory card into the picture frame and voila - you’re viewing your latest pics. It’s a new age and certainly one that is growing on me.
