6 Different Types Of Acne

January 31, 2008 by Lana Robinson · Leave a Comment

Because nearly 17 million people in the United Status suffer from acne, it has become one of the most common skin diseases in the United States. Nearly 85 percent of people between the ages of 12 and 24 get acne at one time or another; it is most typically found in teenagers and young adults. Usually, acne goes away by the age of 30; however, some people in their 40’s and 50’s still suffer from acne.

The cause of pimples is unknown. The process by which a pimple develops is highly intricate. While we do know that a pore collapses on itself and blocks sebum (oil) from escaping, we do not fully understand why this process takes place in one sebaceous gland versus another.

One thing that we do know about acne is that hormones, diet, vitamin deficiency, stress, evolutionary biology (just to name a few) play a role in the formation of acne. Most pimples are found on the face, neck, back, chest and shoulders. While acne is not a serious health threat, it can cause physical and emotional scars.

Sometimes, the hair, sebum, and skin cells clump together into a plug. The bacteria in the plug cause swelling. Then when the plug starts to break down, a pimple grows.

Because we know that many factors cause pimples, our time is actually better spent finding and testing effective treatments. Effective treatments for pimples are out there, you just have to find the one that works for you and your acne.

The most common types of pimples are:

1. Whiteheads: These are pimples that stay under the surface of the skin.

2. Blackheads. These are pimples that have a black color, and they have risen to the surface of the skin. Some people say that this black color is from dirt, but that is not true.

3. Papules: Small pink bumps on the surface of the skin that can be tender.

4. Pustules: Pimples that are red at the bottom and have pus on the top.

5. Large, painful, solid pimples that are deep in the skin (nodules)

6. Cysts. These deep, painful, pus-filled pimples can cause scars.

Burn Fat Build Muscle

January 31, 2008 by Rob Ryan · 1 Comment

Finding a suitable exercise program for your fitness goals will depend on your body weight and type, your genetic makeup and it must be a workout that you will do on a continuous basis.

Most fitness beginners are suffering from inactive lifestyles and poor eating habits, causing a downward unhealthy trend that can result in always being overweight and possibly being burdened with chronic diseases if a change isn’t made beforehand.

Getting off your rear end and actually doing something about it before it’s to late is the wall that prevents most people from getting into a healthy shape.

If your not willing to apply an intense workout, don’t even bother and just continue to watch the pounds pile on while you not only start to look worst, you will feel worst. Intensity is good and effective and if you continue, it won’t be long before you begin to look and feel so much better.

Most people start a workout program because they are overweight, so at the start of a workout regimen it is always a good idea to perform more cardio type exercises, in order to prevent building muscle under fat.

You also must include strength training into your fatburning workout and as you lose weight, you will slide the scale up to include more strength and muscle building exercises while reducing the cardio on your normal workout day.

On the days when your not doing the hard workout, try and apply about 15 to 20 minutes of fatburning exercise to keep a handle on the weight gain.

If your not changing your eating habits, all of the hard, intense workouts will be neutralized and you won’t be able to reap all of the benefits of your workout program.

Around 15 years ago or so, A terrible malfunction with a bench press nearly caused catostrophic damage to my face and possibly death, so I decided to create a device and workout regimen that could produce the results I was striving for and it will be available to anyone that is also seeking excellent workout results. Read Bench Press Horror:

The terrible experience turned out to be a blessing in disguise, because it inspired the WorkoutBandit that is incredibly effective for exercising all of the major muscle groups with fatburning and bodybuilding results. You can control your weight while reshaping your entire physique.

I never had the desire to work so hard to look like the Arnold but it has kept me in the shape of men half my age and I only workout three days a week for 45 minutes. I’m 52 ripped years old.

I, like many people have only had the desire to not look like I needed to workout. Since I really didn’t have the time or inclination to spend so much time to get really ripped anyway, the intense three days a week workouts have had the results I hoped for.

I also was lucky to to be a Chicago Health Club (Bally’s) member in 1973 when the Nautilus resistance equipment came on the scene. The accurate intense movement is the key for any body sculpting success.

An almost fatal or terrible bodily injury incident using a 175 lbs. bar bell motivated me to design a piece of equipment that performs just like the Nautilus apparatus that worked so well and I havn’t used weights since.

At the time I simply didn’t have the desire or the space for an expensive bulky contraption, so I used my fabricating skills from my body shop experience to duplicate what these machines offered.

It’s important that you start some kind of exercise or physical activity but if you implement an intense full body workout on a consistant basis the transformation can be unbelievable and this positive effect will motivate you to continue on a regular basis.

To reap the most out of your workout program you will have to perform up to 60 minutes for 5 or 6 days a week of intense exercise.

Working each muscle group with the intensity and accurate fluid movement will determine the positive outcome of an effective fitness program.

If your already having trouble with weight control or obesity it’s real easy to end up with a piece of equipment or diet program that you will end up not utilizing properly or it is something that simply does’nt deliver on the advertised promises, or your not willing to work hard enough to make it actually happen.

But, if you have had enough and are serious, everyone can benefit with a structured guided fitness program that allows you to easily and quickly rotate between the muscle groups.

Years of experience has taught me the correct way to achieve a healthy physique, all done with observation and application.

If your ready to finally get into the physical condition you’ve been desiring, The WorkoutBandit can make it happen. This is a fatburning, bodybuiding program that can work for anyone that applies it.

This is a true full body program with dozens of exercises for all the muscle groups so you don’t have to worry about getting bored.

This isn’t just for men. Women, teens, athletes, physical therapy and seniors can all benefit from this versatile, simple fitness training plan.

The WorkoutBandit can also be very helpful for those of you that don’t want an intense workout. The easy ability to change resistance makes this easy for anyone.

Looking For The Best Way To Get Rid Of Body Fat?

January 31, 2008 by Chevron Marks · Leave a Comment

Still uncertain what is the best way to get rid of stomach fat. The best books in the library and book stores have not given the guaranteed results you wished for and now you are turning to the internet.

Many experts revealed the diet sins and how they can be avoided.

Eating processed foods, even veggies, can not take the place of fresh veggies that you prepare yourself. Also, fruit juices are not as good as eating whole fruits.

Small meals throughout the day will help and do not over eat. Even when you crave something bad.

These are two contrasting situations in nutrition weight loss schemes. Eating too much even if you think you have followed all the low-fat, low-carb tips you it may still not be a good nutrition weight loss practice for you. Not eating enough will also result in weight gain because it will influence your insulin levels promoting storage of fats. Hence, it is highly advised that one eats about 5-6 light meals a day rather than eating 3 large ones.

Intaking too many supplements can retard weight loss.

Vitamins are supplements but should not replace foods. Nutrition weight loss programs have been in constant limelight all these years. This means that nutrition weight loss program is not the same for everybody. Bottom line, seeking the advice of reliable health practitioners should be your first step in nutrition weight loss plan and researching how to get rid of stomach fat.

Carbohydrate Nutrition Tips

Stick to complex carbohydrates. Carbs are highly misunderstood. Did you know there is no dietary requirement for them. People have been brain washed to think carbs are harmful to you. In reality you need them to maintain glycogen levels.

Carbohydrate nutrition has been stirred by the low-carb issues. Foods that are said to contain low-carbohydrates may not be what they claim to be. A lot of foods that claim to contain less carbohydrates than some others may actually contain more sugar so as not to lose the taste that people love. Thus, these are not healthier choices than those containing the regular carbohydrates.

But, nevertheless, starchy carbs should be avoided.

Carbohydrates are the best source of energy in the body. Simple carbohydrates (sugar), are the ones to be taken in moderation as they do not contain the needed nutrients. Complex carbohydrates like starches are the ones which contain the necessary nutrients.

Consuming not enough carbohydrates will lower energy levels and is unhealthy.

A great way to get rid of stomach fat is to research the facts and destroy the myths. Do not make learning about carbs as difficult as calculus. Please do not entertain the ideas of uneducated people.

January 31, 2008 by Kathy Nelson · Leave a Comment

If you suffer with gout then you should be changing your diet right now. Your diet, including your intake of fluids (alcoholic and non alcoholic), is affecting every part of your body including your joints where the gout pain appears.

When you have to much uric acid in your body it will crystallize around your joints and cause them to become inflamed and painful, this condition is known as gout. If your diet is high in purines and protein then there is a good chance that you will have an attack of gout at some point.

It is therefore important that a person who suffers from gout avoids any foods that contain high levels of protein or purines within them. If you eat foods with too much protein or purine in them they will then increase the levels of uric acid in the body, which can further exacerbate the condition.

Is all that beer and red meat you eat worth all the gout pain that you are experiencing? You need to take your gout diet seriously and realize that the more notice you take of the food you put into your mouth the greater your chance of reducing your pain from gout is.

Eat your vegetables , they are good for you. How many times have we all heard that as children, well Gout is one of the few diseases where some vegetables could actually be causing you pain. You should start cutting down on your intake of corn, peas and potatoes as soon as possible.

All liquids are not created equal in terms of the effect they will have on your gout. Beer is the worst item for someone with gout to consume, while any alcohol is not ideal. Most of us don’t drink enough water , this affects all of us but especially someone with gout. Gout sufferers should try to drink 8 glasses of water a day.

Many people will look at the list of things to remove from their diet so their gout can improve and just think it is all to much so they do nothing. Pick one thing that is bad for you and start off by reducing then removing it from your diet completely. Once you have conquered one food then you can move onto the next one, you need to make lifestyle changes rather than just changing your diet a little for a week or two.

You can reduce your gout attacks and the severity of them over time just by making changes to your diet and increasing your water intake. These dietary changes will not only help reduce your gout pain they will also help you feel better in yourself. Constant pain of gout is something that will affect your way of living and you can improve this dramatically just by a few simple changes in eating habits.
