Having a tough time losing body fat from those problem areas? If your current cardio program is failing you, then interval training could be your answer. Interval training, done correctly, has been proven to be the most effective way to lose stubborn body fat.

Interval Training Burns Calories Long After The Workout is Finished

Although it seems logical to use traditional cardio, there are problems. With traditional “target heart rate” cardio you typically only burn calories when you are engaged in the workout. With interval training you are boosting your metabolism for many hours after the workout. It has been shown that interval training can burn up to 6 times the calories compared to traditional cardio. I suggest choosing interval training to drop body fat at much quicker rate than traditional aerobic exercise. Read more

Be Like A Magnet

I know a very spiritual woman who has recently realized a reversal in her circumstances: She told me, ‘I used to have unfortunate beliefs about myself and I received back from external influences unfortunate results. When I decided to take control and raise my resonance, to be the change I wanted to become, to allow abundance and love come flow through me, absolutely everything fell into place. I am now living a life of leisure with a beautiful husband and I can draw what I want into my universe at will.

What does it take to be magnetic? Can we really draw money, love or health simply by telling ourselves we are magnets for what we want?

It’s easier than you think. It simply takes a shift in perception. Read more

Lesson for your higher life

November 29, 2007 by Basavaraj Udapudi · Leave a Comment

Achieving manifestation of your desires through techniques of higher self sometimes disappoints us. We don’t get to the place we want to be. We want something, more than anything in the world.

Though we work and stay positive, sometimes we don’t get our desires fulfilled. After we think about it, we may realize we are glad it didn’t work out. At this point, considering that there is a “divine plan” can explain many things to us. Making that theory a part of your belief system brings focus to a bigger plan. Sometimes our version of how “ready” we are to have something doesn’t coincide with what the bigger picture wants. Something is saying there are still lessons to be learned. Knowledge is a wonderful thing.

Having the patience to hold still and wait for that knowledge is not so great sometimes. Following the correct path in learning and gaining the skills to achieve our goals, gives us endurance to get to the finish line. We aren’t born with complete knowledge. Read more

Why Law of attraction works against you

November 29, 2007 by Basavaraj Udapudi · 2 Comments

Speaking your fate. Getting what you want in life comes from your feelings and thoughts. The “law of attraction” states “you get what you think about; your thoughts determine your experience. Thoughts focused on sickness bring the sickness to you. Thoughts of wealth attract wealth to you. Thoughts of poverty and degradation bring those things to you. You speak your fate. Whether you are conscious of requesting it or not, if you feel it or think it, you will get it. Wanted or unwanted, the Laws of Attraction work both ways.

The more you struggle against something you don’t want, the more it comes to you. Your mind sets up a resistance to what you want. What you fight against will continue to pursue you. Preparing and guarding yourself against the things you don’t want, focuses on the problem even more. Being frightened and worrying about it, brings the focus of attention on the problem. The more you fight, the more you fear it, the more powerful the negative becomes. Overwhelming your mind attracts only thoughts that make you fail. Read more

Burn Stubborn Fat

The Traditional Cardio Workout ProgramsThere are definitely a couple schools of thought when it comes to burning body fat. Personal trainers recommend varying cardio workouts, depending upon their training. A common way of doing cardio is by exercising at a low intensity level.

It is suggested that the majority of calories burned will come from body fat at a lower intensity level. A common belief is that if one exercises too hard, then the calories burned will come from carbohydrates in the muscles and not from body fat.

An argument for high intensity cardio workouts is that more total calories are burned at a higher intensity level. Although this is a combination of both carbohydrates in the muscles as well as body fat calories. So you have low intensity cardio with a higher percentage of calories burned from body fat and high intensity cardio that burns more total calories overall. Let’s look at each in more detail.
